I founded One Small Step after more than two decades in aerospace and sustainability leadership. I've worked as engineer designing fighter jets and satellites, and as a sustainability leader advancing corporate sustainability initiatives at the highest levels.
At Northrop Grumman, I built and led the company's centralized sustainability function. I developed enterprise-wide strategies, completed the first materiality assessment, set and achieved carbon reduction goals, established an energy management program, and founded the Technology for Conservation initiative.
Through this journey, I realized that millions of small and medium-sized businesses are increasingly being asked by large corporations to adopt sustainability practices. SMBs are resource constrained and lack in-house expertise, but need access to experienced leaders to take action.
That's why I created One Small Step and The GHG Shoppe, to bring experienced sustainability leadership to SMBs in a flexible, practical, and affordable way. As a Fractional Sustainability Leader and Consultant, I blend the experience of a corporate leader with the agility of a hands-on strategist to help businesses deliver on sustainability.
